I love the AMA threads—that stands for “ask me anything”—I’ve been seeing pop up all over the Internet. So I thought it would be fun to do an AMA right here on my blog.
I get tons of questions each and every day from readers on Facebook, Goodreads, Twitter, Instagram, and all across the web. Check out my answers to some of the most frequent questions below, and then go ahead and ask me anything you’d like to know about my books, my writing, and my favorite things to read/do/see in the comments.
And be sure to check back regularly as I plan to update often!
A: Thank you, I love the Sullivans too! I am also currently writing about the Maverick Billionaires and the Morrisons and love working on those series, as well. (Plus, I have brand news series called “Married in Malibu” that I’m writing under the name Lucy Kevin that I’m really excited about.) And, of course, I plan to keep writing about Sullivans forever!
A: Now that the San Francisco and Seattle Sullivans have all found love, I can’t wait for everyone to meet the New York Sullivans! NOW THAT I’VE FOUND YOU is the first New York Sullivan book, starring Drake Sullivan, our April 13, 2016. SINCE I FELL FOR YOU (Suzanne Sullivan) is the second New York Sullivan story, coming Fall 2016! Signing up for my newsletter is also the best way to find out about new books and other exciting things: www.bellaandrefans.com/
A: While I’m inspired by life and the people I meet, nearly all of my ideas for my books come straight from my imagination. My characters become very real for me when I am writing their love stories. I laugh and cry right along with them.
A: I love living on both coasts! I’m one of those writers who writes absolutely everywhere. In my office, outside on dock, on a train, even in line at the grocery store on my phone sometimes! Although it’s absolutely true that I do love writing in beautiful places.
A: Congrats on making the decision to write–it’s a great one! My advice to writers is always the same, because it’s such an important thing to keep in mind. Write what you love! Your passion will shine through and keep you going, and readers will get excited too. Other than that keep reading, keep learning, and always keep growing.
A: I’ve always been such a big romance reader. When I was a teenager I would read until two in the morning with the lights under the covers. Romance has always been my genre. I still read a book a day when I can manage to squeeze them in between writing my own books. I love all kinds of books, depending on which flavor I’m in the mood for. Every story offers something unique and beautiful. Sometimes I’m in the mood for something sexy, other times I want something sweet. I read everything from contemporary to historical, funny to angsty.
