I volunteered to read a ARC and give my honest review. This first story In the London Sullivan series is a very sweet story of Owen Sullivan and Mari. Their relationship builds slowly from their friendship, rather than full on craziness and passion like their SF and Seattle cousins. The story focuses more on Mari’s late father Charlie and his relationships with the Sullivan family and Mari’s mother than Owen and Mari. I loved Owen’s siblings so I can not wait to read their stories especially Malcolm. Being Aussie with a British heritage, I loved all the little English details like every day names of things and familiar sayings. Like saying Shop instead of Store and Flat for apartment.

Book one in a new branch of Sullivans this time in London and is just as exciting as the other Sullivans.
Mari Everett life in California with her mother and step father. Her father left when she was three and she has not heard from his since. All her life she has been fascinated with books and has always longed to own a bookstore.

She learns that her father has died and left her his bookstore and flat in London on Elderflower island so she goes over to check it out and find out what she can learn about her father.

Owen Sullivan lives and works on Elderflower island looking after his grandmothers affairs who is a famous author
Owen and Mari fall in love and with the help of his family and friends helps to get the bookstore up and running again.
I could read this book over and over .

I have read and enjoyed each one of Bella Andre’s Sullivans Series and the London Sullivans didn’t disappoint. As Long As I Have You introduces us to the London Sullivans. Mari Everett travels from California to Elderflower Island in London after inheriting a bookstore and flat from her birth father. There she meets Owen Sullivan who was a good friend to the father Mari hadn’t seen she was 3.
From the picturesque fictional Elderflower Island we are taken on a journey as Mari and Owen find their own path to forever.
As Long As I Have You is wonderful beginning to the London Sullivans which promises to be another enthralling series!

This book is about Mari going to Elder flower Island near London to find out the secrets of her birth father who left when she was three. So many long lost answers are revealed in a tiny little bookshop in a wonderful little community and all the incredible Sullivan family who rally around her to support her. Along the way she meets Owen Sullivan and his grandmother who support Mari and form an instant bond and love. I found so many of parallels to my own life that this book became a very favorite and cherished story. I can't wait for the next book in the London Sullivan series.

The setting, its surroundings, the characters all combine to make this a book not to put down until you have finished reading. i cannot wait to read Malcolm Sullivan's story next or could be Alice Sullivan and Mari's brother Carson next............ a fitting story line of books within a book, of romance and how lives are intertwined. A missing father who dies and lives his young daughter everything he owned and a bitter mother who doesn't want to lose her daughter to another country.

I debated on writing a review since I was disappointed in this book. love Bella Andre and reread the early stores ALL the time!! I was following a long just fine until the unexpected bills arrive and there is the dilemma of how to pay for them and doubts on reopening or selling but then out of nowhere it’s declared the store will open in a week’s time. Everything in this story just miraculously fell into place...too perfect to have even a smidgen of reality in it. I really think that I would have been fine with that had there not been a hint of trouble that wasn’t fully addressed...why bring it up if you don’t openly solve it?!!! I did like the finding and publishing of Charlies’ stories and illustrations so why couldn’t that have been better tied into solving the financial worry? Just overly annoyed with the mention of the bills when it didn’t seem necessary for the overall fairy tale story. I’m interested in the next book but I’m torn about actually buying it and getting the same cookie cutter story.
