    This is the 6th book in the Maverick Millionaire series by the talented Bella Andrea and Jennifer Scully and it truly is a fantastic addition to the series that it will not disappoint. The Mavericks are an intense group of self-made men from the wrong side of the tracks. As each one has found love their close knit family has grown and it’s wonderful to have them back in our lives. This is Gideon and Rose’s story...

    Gideon Jones joined the military at 18 in the hopes of providing better for his little sister, Ari. He loses track of her in the foster care system due to the unexpected death of his mother. It took many years before Gideon and Ari were reunited thanks to the Mavericks. Gideon has lived in the shadows since leaving the military because he sees himself unworthy of love and happiness.

    Rosie has been attracted to Gideon long before she met him due to stories from Ari while they were in foster care together. Rosie is now a single mum to 6yr old, Jorge. She has been navigating life on her own ever since Jorge’s dad left before his birth. Rosie has persevered and managed to complete her accounting degree, find a good job, and home for them both.

    Gideon has been attracted to Rosie from the moment he met her. Sparks start to fly at the wedding, Rosie decides she is no longer going to tread lightly around Gideon (since most do as he always has his “guard” up) and just treat him as she would any other friend. They dance at the wedding and there is a definite attraction that neither can deny. They make plans to spend most days together and the walls Gideon has worked so hard to keep in place, are slowly coming down. Rosie starts to see bits and pieces of the man Gideon once was and of the person Ari always spoke about during their time in foster care.

    It’s a wonderful love story that will captivate you as Rosie and Gideon move past their painful pasts. I laughed and shed a few tears so pleased that they find each other and their happily ever after...
    Though it can easily be read as a standalone, I do recommend reading the others in the series, if only to get the great backstories of the other Mavericks but to also understand the main characters in this book a little more.

    I love reading all the books in the Maverick series but I wasn’t anticipating the release of this new one in the series as I wasn’t sure it was going to be a real Maverick book. Is Gideon really a Maverick or is it a spinoff book? 2 chapters in and I had my answer. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A MAVERICK BOOK. And like the whole series. I absolutely loved it. No spoilers but there are several interactions with all the Mavericks and a big family event with everyone which are highlights for me. I love chasing up with other Mavericks who are included in scenes after their own HEA. Gideon and Rosie previously weren’t favourite characters for me but l really enjoyed their story. Similar story to Dylan Sullivan’s story from the Seattle Sullivan Series which is another favourite of mine.

    Captivating in love is the perfect title for this book as it is definitely captivating I couldn't pjt it down until the end.
    Gideon Jones is damaged from the war and thinks love and romance are not for him after years of trying to find his sister Ari he is now reunited with her. Rosie Diaz was in foster care and is best friends with Ari. She also has a six year old son whose father rejected him before birth.
    Ari has married Matt who has a six year old son and whilst on their honeymoon Gideon looks after him. Ads the boys are best friends Rosie and Gideon get to spend a lot of time together which turns into a real romance and love affair

    I love Bella Andre and Jennifer Skully’s books, so it was a great surprise to find another installment in the Maverick Billionaires series with ‘Captivating In Love’. I loved reading Gideon and Rosie’s beautiful love story and once again catching up with the rest of the Maverick Billionaires and their families. Each book in this series just keeps getting better, and I can’t wait to see what this talented writing duo has in store for us next!

Gideon will protect them with his life & the Mavericks will help. This was a story that hit close to home for me, soldiers suffer with guilt & PTSD & struggle to live a normal life. It is wonderful to read a story that shines light on this, but makes it not look or feel so daunting. Rosie was the perfect match for Gideon & Jorge was the icing on the cake! Check out this story, it was a bit of a slow burn, sexy, steamy(including the sexy shower scene!!) & they hit up some pretty cool art museums in the process!

    I liked the previous books from the series more or less, but all came at least with a 3,5 rating. This one I just could not get into so much. At 50% I started skipping pages, because there was so much detail especially about the children, that I found it simply boring.
    Yeah, the boys are great, I got it after the first couple of pages, but they took so much space in the story, that it just wasn't for me. I found them attention seeking and a lot of times quite annoying actually.
    Secondly Rosie was not my cup of tea. She was so pushy all the time and overstepping in my eyes. I could not get warm with her.
    I will still read the next book, because in general the storylines are nice. This one I could/should have skipped.
