Hold on to My Heart, is Bella Andre’s latest story in the Sullivan Family, and is a wonderful addition! Nash, a country/rock singing sensation, who has no sense of home meets small-town single mom, Ashley, with a huge family and a son who means the world to her. Their meeting in enchanting Vienna, and subsequent day spent together is just the beginning of a heartfelt addition to the Sullivan chronicles. It demonstrates everything this large, kindhearted, and protective family is. I love the Sullivans and would like very much to be friends with any or all of them. Bella captivates you with her characters and draws you into their world as they work through whatever is thrown their way. I love the protectiveness of Ashley’s brothers, but at the same time wanted to smack them in the head for being so overbearing. While they like Nash and describe him as a good man, they don’t think he is good enough for their sister and not afraid to let everyone know it.

Nash has quite the past to overcome. Things he did in his youth through anger and frustration led to jail time and a reputation as a bad boy. Not the best character for a single mom trying to protect her son! He really understands how he can affect Ashley and Kevin, and that says he is unselfish and really has her best interests at heart.

Ashley is every bit as protective of her son as her brothers are for her… (see it runs n the Sullivan family). Her ex, the scoundrel in this opposites attract romance must be put in his place, and Nash is willing to let Ashley take the lead, stand up for herself and her son, and be there as support.

I’ve loved the Sullivan stories, ALL 22 of them!!! You can jump in at any point and don’t need to read the previous books to enjoy this story, but I know you will want to go back and read all of them once you start. They are a huge family with branches in San Francisco, Seattle, NY, Maine, London, and hmmm, maybe more! I know when I open a Sullivan book, I have many hours of time well spent.
